Hat
Stiffened blue silk (?) hat constructed in two sections that are shaped and joined together; front section is pleated and attached to a flattened back section which has a small metal horizontal bar located above a lower slit opening; hand stitched; central front decoration includes an oval mirrored dome encircled with black and gold sequins and bugle beads in a floral pattern; back and side sections have similar floral patterns; hat edges are trimmed with braid in various styles and with sections of teal piping; black binding encases the lower edge; top attached decoration includes a blue/white covered wire formed into a bow and scroll with white beads; lining is beige linen/cotton with two attached interior ties; wire attachments and a metal plate supporting exterior decorations are visible in the interior; four interior labels with Chinese characters include: three stamped designs and one paper label.
