Hat
Made for Singer Sewing competition, won the B.C. competition and then went to Toronto for national competition. Did not win the national competition. Outfit consists of (a) Short double-breasted jacket with round neck, no collar, belt around back, double-vented. (b) Empire-waist dress, wrap-around skirt, upper part is a pinkish orange silk fabric, lower part is pink wool. (c) vest is pinkish orange silk with sixteen covered buttons down front. (d-e) brown leather gloves. (f) brown umbrella. (g) pink wool hat.
