Dessert Dish
Glazed, fired ceramic; shallow dish almost bowl-like; design in dark and light blue on a bright white background; Asian-style design of water lilies and bamboo in the centre bottom of the dish with a grasshoppers on a leaf, and small sized four-petalled flowers, on each of the four corners is a stylized ornate flower with leaves and four small flowers; bordering the inside shoulder of the dish is a 1.6 band of small repeating diamond shapes outlined in blue; on the bottom of the base is a decal with a bamboo design around a garland, inside the decal in handwritten-like script, the pottery name, 'Bamboo', ' Opague China' and 'JWR'.
