Butter Dish
White clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a complex maroon color transfer printed floral and geometric band with shield elements spaced unevenly around the inside of the rim. Also printed in the center of the piece is the word "Leonard's/Since 1892" On the bottom of the bowl is a maroon color transfer image of a crown atop the maker's name "Grindley Hotel Ware/England/Vitrified" and then the distributor's name "Cassidy's Ltd./Montreal, Vancouver,/Toronto, Winnipeg./"LYONS" ". For butter pats.
