Circular scalloped cape-like collar of stiff red satin fabric with embroidery; front center closing placket with 3 snaps; back center seam; hand-stitched and machine stitched; 2 phoenix designs and Chinese cloud motifs are worked in satin stitch embroidery in shades of blue, gold, green, yellow, pink, purple, orange, grey and black with a lower border design in stripes of blue and gold; collar and lower edges bound in blue fabric; lined in blue acetate(?); attached fringe of bright yellow nylon (?) threads with open meshwork decorates the lower shaped edge of the collar; chalk (?) '2' mark visible in lining.
