Tea Caddy
Vertical six-sided brass tea caddy with copper plating of either Chinese or Japanese manufacture; A: container is decorated on the copper surface in high relief with two dragons, one of them clutching a seashell, and turbulent water on a background with a honeycomb design; B: six-sided outer lid has one dragon in high relief on the top, and three Chinese characters translated as 'Longevity', 'Blessings' and 'High Social Status' on three of the sides and repeated on the other three sides; C: inner stopper with knob is made of plain brass with no decoration; centre of the bottom of container has a trademark of a small diamond shape containing a Chinese or Japanese character.
