Bowl
White bone china clay body with clear glossy glaze applied. dish has a pedestal, is finely finished and simply adorned. Decoration consists solely of an oval shaped ring bearing the following; "Sicll:offi:Mag:Adm:Mag:Br: &C". On top of the oval is a crown, within the oval is an anchor. the decoration is a blue transfer image and has been partially removed through abrasion which has also removed the thin glaze from around the rolled rim. On the bottom of the piece is the maker's mark which reads "Coalport/bone china/Made in England/AD 1750/E II R/1953"
