Description
Sugar Bowl
White clay body with glossy glaze applied. Decoration consists of a dark-green band outlined with a thin band of the same color. A gap in the band contains a dark green color transfer print of a garter surmounted by a crown. On the garter are the words "The Vancouver Club" and the year "1893" In the center of the garter is the image of a beaver facing the left and holding a branch with leaves in its mouth. On the bottom is the maker's mark.
