Rectangular white paper booklet (part a) entitled 'Our Baby's Book' published by 'The Osborne Company, Clifton, N.J.', enclosed one page typed letter from Northwestern Creamery Ltd., 1015 Yates Street in Victoria to Mrs. N. Nelson at 3735 Carey Road in Victoria (part b), and a mailing envelope to contain the booklet and letter (part c); front cover of booklet has embossed effect and an image of two sleeping babies coloured white, pink, brown and orange; cover is attached to the 16 page stapled booklet inside with two punched holes and a white tasselled cord; each page is a form for the new parents to fill in to document the baby's first year or so but there are no entries; booklet is a gift from the Northwestern Creamery and the accompanying letter is both a congratulations and also an advertisement for their products; letterhead includes a brown and white photograph of a herd of cows grazing in a pasture; letter is dated July 17, 1939 but the envelope was not mailed until August 17, 1939.
