Beige coloured paper covers held together with string threaded through four holes evenly spaced down the front edge; on the front cover along the left side is glued a narrow vertical piece of white paper (3.5L X 16.5H) bordered in a black line, on the paper is a vertical row of machine printed in black ink, Chinese characters, each booklet has the same title; each page has ten lined columns with machine printed Chinese characters in each column. All have machine printed black text. The booklets describe physical symptoms, two volumes include womens' medicine. The first three booklets have the same title, the last two have the same title.
