Blue silk belt with silk and gold embroidery and attached lion mask; machine and hand stitched with additional zigzag stitched repairs; lined in linen/cotton with lining support stitched at the back of the mask; back opening secured with two sets of metal hooks and eyes that are impressed with the following marks: "888", "trademark","Deponiert [?]"; satin stitch embroidery is worked in gold, silver, red, black and white threads; gold embroidery threads are couched with red thread; 2 five-toe dragon embroidered designs are positioned along the belt each side of the front mask; three dimensional padded lion mask is centered along belt front with face worked in gold embroidery threads and black silk outlining threads; padded pink, red and white fabric pieces represent the mask mouth, nose, eyes, tongue and teeth while the bulbous stuffed fabric eyes are painted with black circles; two loops of lining fabric are located behind the mask.
